About Us
Mi Pillow came from a long background in the computer industry. From the first time my fingertips touched a computer keyboard I knew what my life’s path was. I started in IT and a few short months later added computer hardware and repair to my portfolio. The next stage happened a couple years later and that was website design. Right after that came graphic design and I had finally found a true friend in work. I love all stages in my work career but the freedom graphic work gave me was the answer to a lot of questions.
Jump forward 4 years and you have my mother buying me a $200 sewing machine to make home decorations (curtains, cushions, etc.) for my home. After that I used the sewing machine occasionally for making repairs or hemming a pair of pants. Not to much activity at all. Then enters my son. He loved, and still does, the original Angry Birds app. So on his 3rd birthday we decide on an Angry Birds themed party. I get to work and make all the graphics for the decorations. After his birthday I decide to put those birthday graphics to work and make him a custom pillow of the red Angry Bird. Trial and error was the norm for that time of my life, but when the smoke cleared an idea turns into Mi Pillow.
Fourteen years ago Mi Pillow started and I can humbly say that I have learned so much and have so so much more to learn. I will never stop learning or be willing to change. Change is what has made my pillows even more of a pleasure to make. Just when I think my quality can not get any better it does. My customers may not be able to see it, but I can, and nothing makes me happier than to know that my customers are getting the best that I have to offer.
